About Monika Soddemann
Monika has more than 20 years of experiences in Capacity Development in International Organisations in the educational sector in Germany as well as in many African countries.
She holds a degree in Adult Education from the School of Higher Education in Germany, a Certificate of the Humboldt University in Berlin and further qualifications in E-Learning as well as in Systemic Organisational Development and Coaching. She has worked as an associated professional officer for the United Nations in Rome (FAO) in Education, as project manager for Vocational Education and Training (VET) and as trainer and manager for E-Learning for Deutsche Gesellschaft für internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in Germany. As a workshop facilitator, executive coach and trainer on leadership skills, she was employed by a variety of international organizations in Tanzania and Ethiopia such as WFP, USAID and UNICEF. Since 2016 she is working at GIZ in Bonn as advisor in the sector project on VET.
